Coaching
The Coach provides Career Coaching, also known as Coaching Services, to help clients discover their own direction, purpose, and build confidence in order to reach their career goals. Coaching may take place in one-on-one, or one-to-many sessions, during which the Coach may offer their opinion and tools and resources to help Client improve various aspects of their careers.
However, the Coach's responsibilities are limited and do not include
-
Providing professional recommendations or referrals for Client;
-
Introduction to Coach’s professional network and business relationships.
In the Coaching Program, Client may work with different coaches on different subjects. The coaching methods used may vary and are based on the Coach's judgment, even if they do not strictly adhere to a client's suggestions.
The results Client generates from implementing the Coach's techniques and advice are the Client’s responsibility. Client is also solely responsible for their career and personal decisions and will indemnify the Coach from any liability regarding these decisions.
Client’s Responsibilities
The purpose of the Coaching Program is to educate and inspire Client to pursue their personal goals. The Company provides the Guarantee defined in the Guarantee section.
However, Client accepts and agrees that Client is 100% responsible for their results from the Program. Client acknowledges that he/she can optimize her potential results from the Program by adhering to the following:
- Completion of all Program material, including assignments and worksheets if applicable;
- Completion of all assigned work, material, and research between each coaching call;

- Attending each coaching call at the scheduled date, on time;
- Utilization of Coach’s feedback on Slack;
- Following the rescheduling policy and adhering to the rescheduled time and date;
Rescheduling Policy
A big component of success is discipline and commitment. Coaching calls will take place at a designated time. Schedules will be agreed upon by Coaches and Client at the beginning of the Coaching Program. In order to achieve optimal results under this Program, Client should commit to the schedules.
The rescheduling policy is as follows:
For one-to-many (group coaching) calls, no rescheduling is allowed due to the nature of the group call setting.
For one-on-one coaching calls, in order to accommodate unexpected situations, Client is allowed to have up to three (3) reschedules. All requests to reschedule a call must be made no later than 48 hours before the scheduled call. All requests to reschedule must include a date and time within a week at which the rescheduled call can take place, which Client must schedule with Coach’s scheduling link. Failure to do so shall result in that call being considered a “no-show.”
All requests for schedule changes are subject to Coach’s discretion.
A maximum of two (2) “no-shows'' is allowed. If Client reaches 3 “no-shows”, this agreement will be terminated and Client will still be responsible for any remaining payment balance.
Payment & Fees
The Fee for the Coaching Program must be paid through one of the following options:
- One (1) full payment of the Coaching Program is due immediately upon purchasing the Coaching Program and execution of this Agreement. No Coaching Services shall commence under any circumstances until full payment is rendered by Client.
- Payment Plan consisting of:
- Initial payment: Due immediately upon execution of this agreement.
- First monthly payment: Due on the date of the onboarding call.
- Second monthly payment: Due 30 days after the onboarding call.
- Third monthly Payment: Due 60 days after the onboarding call.
Graduation
We want our clients to make quick progress and get hired quickly. If Client receives a job offer before payment is due, Client can choose to graduate from (terminate) the Coaching Program and will not be required to make any additional payments.
In such cases, Client shall provide a valid job offer including the company and the position that they are hired for.
Refund Policy
In order to provide our clients with a risk-free experience, we offer a refund policy under specific conditions. If the increase in total compensation (including salary, sign-on bonus, annual bonus, stock, and RSUs) from Clients' current data scientist job to Clients' new data scientist job does not cover the cost of the Coaching Program, we will issue a prorated refund to address the difference.
In cases where Client receives multiple offers, the accepted offer will be used to determine the total compensation increase.
To be eligible for this refund policy, Client must disclose their exact total compensation package to Coach within the first week of enrolling in the program. Additionally, Client must receive at least one data scientist job offer and choose to accept one during their time in the program.
This refund policy does not apply to Clients who are seeking their first job as a data scientist, making a career change to data science, or have a career gap of more than 6 months. Additionally, it does not apply to Clients who are making an internal transition within the same company.
Please be aware that no refunds will be provided under any other circumstances beyond the scope of this refund policy.
Termination
Coach is committed to providing quality service to all Clients. However, from time to time, situations arise that require the Coach to terminate the Agreement before the Term ends. As such, Coach reserves the right to terminate the Agreement “for cause” at any time during the Agreement, which includes, but is not limited to, the following causes:
-
Client fails to follow the Coaching Program guidelines;
-
Client is abusive or harasses Coach or other members of Coach;
-
Client refuses to pay or does not pay within the schedule outlined in Section Payment & Fees above;
-
Client proves to be difficult to work with;
-
Client has more than 2 “no-shows” to coaching sessions;
-
Client is responsible for paying the full cost of the agreement, regardless of whether the agreement is terminated or not.
Client dissatisfaction with the Company and/or Coach’s subjective teaching style, independent judgment, methods, or other techniques are not valid reasons for termination of this Agreement or request for a refund.
